We need your help!

Consider donating $10 (the price of Yoga Journal Magazine, less than the price of a Time Magazine.) We are raising money for Children’s Alopecia Project. Please help my daughter Alicia who has Alopecia since the age of 2 and my Son Winston; raise money for this cause. The money goes directly to the Non-profit and will help benefit families in need wishing to attend the Calipalooza Event this April.

What is CAP?

Children’s Alopecia Project! CAP’s mission is to build self-esteem in kids with alopecia, bring support to the families and to raise alopecia awareness. We have 50 support groups in and even outside the USA and we organize fun events & camps for our CAP kids where they can connect with other CAP kids and just be themselves : )

Quotes:

May I share…

a quote from a book I am currently reading,

“One way to understand mediation practices is that they help us integrate and develop the dynamic synergy of both our active or creative mind skills, and or quiet or receptive mind skills. Insights and inspirations emerge first as subtle, formless impressions, gossamer-like and transparent-so elusive that they are easily ignored. If our “quiet mind skills” are keen enough, however, even the subtlest emerging insights will be noticed and drawn into awareness. Once these impressions are brought onto the screen of concious awareness, our “active mind skills” come into play, shaping and developing them into thoughts, images and intentions that can be communicated to others and guide our action and work in the world.”
